Jeff Chan

Jeff Chan is an Ottawa-based amateur sports photographer who provides photo coverage of selected Queen's University sports teams on a volunteer basis. Building on his prior role as the 1998 and 1999 Chairman of the Vanier Cup - Canada's University Football Championship, and his membership on the Canadian College Bowl Board and the Vanier Cup Organizing committee from 1978 to 2000, he now focuses much of his camera work on the Golden Gaels football team and the Vanier Cup. He occasionally shoots Queen's Men's and Women's Basketball, Volleyball, Hockey, Soccer, and other team sports - all student pursuits that help develop teamwork, leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills, and the drive to achieve expected of Canada's leaders.

A member of Arts 74, Jeff maintains many links to the Queen's community, and is currently a member of the Queen's University Board of Trustees Advancement committee and the Queen's Centre Executive Committee. He is a past director of the Queen's Alumni Association and was its representative on the University Council on Athletics, and was the founding President of the Queen's Bands Booster Club which recently completed its successful campaign to "re-uniform" the Bands.
