The mission of the Queen's Intramural program is to enrich the University experience for all students by providing quality opportunities for participation, healthy competition and leadership in organized recreational sports. The overall aim is to provide widespread opportunities for the student population to participate and have fun with their peers in an athletic environment. Our program is comprised of over 30 men's, women's, and co-ed sports leagues and tournaments. BEWS (men) and WIC (women) leagues are based on a faculty system – meaning teams are comprised of students from the same program of study. BEWIC (co-ed) leagues are open – teams of friends can submit a team. We operate in the evenings Monday through Thursday, and the afternoon and evening on Sundays, involving approximately 40-45% of the Queen’s student population. Our yearly highlight is BEWIC Sports Days, when over 1000 students take over the PEC for a weekend, in a 4-sport marathon. Queen's Intramurals offers students not only a place to work up a sweat, but an environment to make many new friends. Take advantage! Contact us today! Duane Parliament
